COLUMBUS (WCMH) — It’s hard to understand how this happened but a bike path near OSU’s campus is closed after a semi-truck got stuck underneath a bridge after getting lost on a trail.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the bicycle path north of Spring Street, parallel to SR 315 is closed because a semi-truck struck two overhead bridges.
Police say the out-of-town driver got confused as to how to find the SR 315 northbound ramp and instead drove on the bike path, before getting stuck under the bridges.
The bike path reopened Thursday afternoon.
