DELAWARE COUNTY, OH (WCMH) — Two OVI checkpoints are scheduled to be held Friday night in Delaware County.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the first OVI checkpoint will be held from 8pm to 10pm on Sawmill Parkway.
The second checkpoint will be held on U.S. 23 between 11pm to 1am.
Troopers say the checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
Troopers want to remind people that if you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
