COLUMBUS (WCMH) — An Ohio State University professor has been reassigned to work from home while the university investigates accusations of inappropriate behavior by two people.

According to the university, two complaints of inappropriate behavior against Dr. Stephen Page were received. One was from a student and another from an office associate. The university said an investigation was immediately started and is ongoing.

Dr. Page works in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. The university reassigned Dr. Page to work from home during the investigation.

“The university takes all allegations of inappropriate behavior seriously, and is working diligently to conclude its review of this matter,” the university said in a statement.

According to Dr. Page’s reassignment letter, Page will continue to receive his faculty salary while assigned to home. The university said he can work on research and professional obligations, but cannot have any contact with undergraduate or graduate students.

Dr. Page was told not to come to campus, except for medical or health care appointments.
