The Ohio State University’s Hillel hosted a vigil for the victims of Saturday’s massacre, at a Pittsburgh synagogue.
The event was solely for members of the OSU community, however, students said it was standing room only.
Organizers said it was an opportunity to pray, reflect and address the numerous emotions felt by so many.
“This was an opportunity for all of us to come together, for the students to speak to those emotions and for them to feel how they are surrounded by a supporting and loving community,” explained Joseph Kohane, the Executive Director of OSU Hillel.
Several OSU leaders including President Michael Drake were also in attendance.
