COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is in stable condition following a shooting in Merion Village Monday afternoon.

According to Columbus Police, officers responded to the 1700 block of South High Street at approximately 3:10 p.m.

Officers found the victim at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center.

There is no further information available at this time.
