One person stable after west Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is in stable condition after being shot in the leg on the west side of Columbus Wednesday evening.

According to Columbus Police, officers found the victim on the 4800 block of Oakway Drive at approximately 7:25 p.m.

The victim was taken to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in stable condition.

Police said the victim, a 22-year-old man, was talking with another person in a parking lot when two men began shooting at them, hitting the victim in the leg.
