One in serious condition after utility truck, SUV collide head-on on Johnstown Road

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says two people were hospitalized after a head-on crash on Johnstown Road Thursday.

The sheriff’s office says a Ford F-450 flat-bed delivery truck and an SUV collided head-on on Johnstown Road west of Stelzer Road on Thursday afternoon.

The SUV was westbound on Johnstown Road, went left of center, and struck the flat-bed truck. The truck caught on fire, according to the FCSO.

The driver of the truck was transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition. The driver of the SUV was transported to Grant Medical Center in life-threatening condition. 

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and did not have other occupants in their vehicles.
