Police ID victim in robbery, shooting on Columbus’ east side

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person has been hospitalized after a shooting on the city’s east side Friday.

According to the Columbus Police, the victim, Cortez J. Harris, 29, was taken to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police responded to the call at approximately 2:45 p.m., when they found Harris with a gunshot wound to his right arm, which he told police happened while he was being robbed.

No suspect information is available at this time.
