One dead, three injured in drive-by shooting during vigil for murder victim

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead and three others were injured in a drive-by shooting in south Columbus, according to police.

It happened in the 200 block of East Barthman Avenue just after 9pm.

One victim, later identified as 32-year-old Chaz Robertson was taken to Grant Medical Center. He was pronounced dead.

Three others were taken to area hospitals in stable condition. One of those victims was a 9-year-old child.

The shooting took place during a vigil for Brandon D. Meeks, who was shot and killed on Monday.

No motive or suspect is known at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact Columbus Police.
