One dead following southeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — One person is dead following a shooting on the southeast side of Columbus.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 5:35pm, Tuesday, officers were called to the 1700 block of Burstock Court on the report of gunfire in a parking lot.  

When officers arrived on scene, they found Curtis Anthony Duff II, 22, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  

Duff was pronounced dead at the scene.  

After investigating, police say there were multiple shots fired by multiple people during which Duff, as well as several properties and vehicles were struck.  

Police continue to investigate the shooting and ask anyone with information to call the CPD Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
