One dead, one critical following shooting near east Columbus bar

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting near an east Columbus bar Monday evening.

According to Columbus Police, officers and medics responded to a report of a shooting on the 6900 block of East Broad Street near Donerick’s Pub at approximately 7:50 p.m. Monday.

One victim, a 25-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim, a 28-year-old female, was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition.
