Ohio State University police are investigating a possible sexual assault of a female student in Canfield Hall on April 12.
In a search warrant affidavit, police say the victim reported she was “possibly drugged” while attending a party at a fraternity house off campus.
She told police she “does not have any recollection of the rest of the night” but believes she may have been sexually assaulted in a Canfield Hall restroom or shower area.
The victim told police she went to the party with a “male friend” and then she “consumed an alcoholic seltzer from a can that she opened herself, wine from a box, and then a drink from a cup an unknown male was holding.”
She was unable to recall leaving the party or returning to her dorm.
The victim’s roommate says the victim was returned to her dorm room by the male friend and another unidentified male.
The roommate says the male friend initially said he had placed the victim in the shower to wash vomit off of her clothes but later confessed he had sex with the victim while she was in the shower.
The victim also reported that on April 14 she was approached by another student who said he had been shown a cell phone video by the “male friend” that showed a male having sex with a female in a shower.
The victim went to the Wexner Medical Center for a sexual assault examination.
She suffered bruises to her head, left eye, both forearms, hips and inner thighs.
