The event’s description: “Strange and bizarre.”
Attendees can find dead butterflies framed, get body piercings, and learn taxidermy. The website says,
“We have vendors on all spectrums of weird, creepy and unusual.”
You do not have to think of this event in Columbus on May 11 as creepy.
There are many museums with mummies, skeletons and other oddities. This event is no different except the participants own these items and are willing to share them with the public.
The items all have stories and you can learn the gritty details by asking.
The newest partner is Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
The fabled “Purveyors of all things odd” will have a mini-museum on site.
