ALEXANDRIA, OH (WCMH) – A Licking County community has voted no for a school bond issue for the 5th time.
Northridge Local Schools said it needs money for a new elementary school and upkeep.
District officials said they are working on scheduling a public meeting to figure out why the levy keeps failing. Some parents like Lauren Alspach are upset.
“I have a first grader in, also have a five-year-old who will be starting Northridge next year. And also have a two-year-old who will be following in their footsteps. This is near and dear to my heart,” said Alspach.
The district is in the process of scheduling meetings with the community to get a better understanding of why they keep voting no on the bond issue.
