No injuries reported after police pursuit in north Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police say no one was hurt after a pursuit in north Columbus.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, around midnight, Tuesday, a person hit a police officer’s vehicle. 

Police say an officer fired a gun but it was an accidental discharge. 

The pursuit ended at Olentangy River Road and S.R. 161 after police used spikes and a pit maneuver on the suspect’s vehicle. 

An arrest has been made and police continue to investigate. No injuries were reported.
