Local News

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Starting today, Oct. 29, 2018, throughout Ohio drivers could be looking at an additional fine for distracted driving.

According to HB 95, if you are pulled over for a moving violation and officers believe distraction was the cause you could face an additional fine.

This new law also has a broader view of distracted driving.

This law has been in the books for many years in Columbus, but now it is statewide.
