Neighbors worried about loud music from concert at Legend Valley

Local News

The Lost Land Music Festival is back at Legend Valley, promoting itself as having 1-million watts of bass.

The sound from the three-day festival can be heard and felt for miles, and it is becoming increasingly irritating for those who live near the music facility.

“It’s disturbing when you’re not used to it,” said Brenda Miller. “You can’t concentrate.”

Miller and her husband agree the Lost Land Music Festival is the loudest concert held at Legend Valley, near where they have lived since 1981.

“All you can hear and feel is that bass,” Larry Miller said.

The nearby Heath Police Department acknowledged the sound on Facebook, but also stated officers cannot take any enforcement action.

The festival runs through Sunday.

The Millers and many of their neighbors said they are hopeful, if it continues next year, the noise will be addressed.

“As a community, I think we’ll see people rise up and there will be some backlash,” said Brenda Miller.
