COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Nearly 2,000 AEP customers are without power in the Grandview Heights area Saturday night.
According to an AEP spokesperson, workers are on site working to identify the problem.
The spokesperson estimated power will be restored at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday.
According to AEP, the outage is due to an equipment issue at a substation that supplies the area. AEP will be transferring customers to another line, with 1,800 customers being switched by 1 a.m, and the remaining 200 customers being switched before 2 a.m.
