Nearly 1,400 without power in south Columbus

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Nearly 1,400 AEP customers in south Columbus are without power after a line of strong thunderstorms moved through the area.

AEP’s outage map shows 1,394 reported outages in the Merion Village area. Several other smaller outages are reported throughout central Ohio.

AEP estimates power will be restored by approximately 7:30 p.m.
