The National Veterans Memorial and Museum will dedicate a POW/MIA table as a special new feature of the museum at 11 a.m. on Saturday in conjunction with the National League of POW/MIA Families.

The display will be at the entrance of the Citizenship and Public Service Gallery on the main floor of the museum.

The table is being donated by the McGouldrick family in memory of Col. Francis J. McGouldrick Jr., U.S. Air Force, who was missing in action in Laos in December 1968.

His remains were returned to the U.S. and he was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in December 2013.

The table will be set for six with an empty chair representing Americans who were or are missing from each of the services – Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard – as well as civilians.
