COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Seven suspects in a heroin and cocaine trafficking ring have been given multi-million dollar bonds in a Franklin County court.

According to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office, seven suspects who were charged in a 10 count indictment for Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity, Trafficking in Heroin, Trafficking in Cocaine, and Receiving Proceeds Subject to Forfeiture received significant bond amounts including the following:
 

  • Abidas Ruiz Lopez $5 million
  • Eliezar Mendoza-Nava $15 million
  • Citaly Abigael Pardo-Rodriguez $5 million
  • Jose Lucero-Morales $5 million
  • Rafael Barrajas-Gonzalez $5 million
  • Moises Rodrigues $5 million
  • Rodrigo Esqueda-Vazquez $15 million

According to the prosecutor’s office, the case involved over 17 pounds of heroin and $107,000 in cash. 

Prosecutors say the suspects were in possession of over eight kilograms of heroin, in possession of over $107,000 cash in drug proceeds and smaller amounts of cocaine as well as two firearms.
