Actor Mark Wahlberg has donated $20,000 to an Ohio foster care organization.
Wahlberg, along with his business partner Jay Feldman, made a large donation to the Buckeye Ranch in Ohio, an organization that operates hundreds of foster homes in 23 Ohio counties.
Many of those homes are located in Hamilton, Butler, Clermont and Warren counties.
Wahlberg’s donation comes as he is promoting his new movie “Instant Family,” a touching and funny look into the world of foster care adoption.
The donation was made on behalf of Columbus-based Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet and the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation.
According to Buckeye Ranch’s website, more than 2,350 youth are in the organization’s care.
