MARION, Ohio (WCMH) — Marion City Schools announced it will switch to remote learning Wednesday.

In a Facebook post, the move will affect all schools in the district.

Extracurricular activities will be held as scheduled, the district said.

Dublin City Schools announced in-person preschool will begin and end one hour later than normal for the remainder of the week due to staffing shortage.

The schedule, released by the district Tuesday, is as follows:

AM Preschool:

  • Wave 1 Arrival Time: 9:45 a.m.
  • Wave 2 Arrival Time: 10:00 a.m.
  • Wave 1 Dismissal Time: 12:15 p.m.
  • Wave 2 Dismissal Time: 12:30 p.m.

PM Preschool:

  • Wave 1 Arrival Time: 1:45 p.m.
  • Wave 2 Arrival Time: 2:00 p.m.
  • Wave 1 Dismissal Time: 4:15 p.m.
  • Wave 2 Dismissal Time: 4:30 p.m.

All other schools in the district are currently scheduled to remain with in-person instruction.
