Marion County deputies investigating robbery at First Federal Bank

MARION TOWNSHIP (WCMH)– The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a robbery, at a local bank.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, deputies say a man robbed the First Federal Bank located on 279 Jamesway Drive and ran with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

In surveillance pictures, the man is seen wearing a blue and white stocking cap with “DETRIOT” on it, a black winter coat, brown pants, and tan gloves. He’s described as six feet tall with black hair and a black beard with a mustache.

Sheriff Bailey cautions everyone if the suspect is seen not to approach but to immediately call law enforcement. If anyone has information on today’s robbery or knows who the suspect is they are encouraged not to make contact with him but to call the Marion County Sheriff’s at 740-382-8244.
