COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A Central Ohio man was sentenced to 5 years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges stemming from an August 2017 incident in Worthington.
Johnathan Ringel pleaded guilty Wednesday to importuning, disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, and two counts of misdemeanor child enticement.
He will also have to register as a sex offender every six months for 25 years (Tier 2).
On August 10, 2017, police said Ringel drove up to two 10-year-old girls in Worthington and began asking them questions. One of the girls saw he was exposing himself and touching himself inappropriately; he asked the girls if they wanted to try it.
