COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police have arrested a man after he was accused of point a laser at airplanes and the CPD helicopter.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 2:49am, Thursday, the CPD helicopter was hit with a laser pointer.
Police say the laser hit other aircraft and was coming from a home on Hodges Drive.
At 3:02am, officers arrested Eugene Robinson, 36, at the residence.
Robinson has been charged with pointing a laser at an aircraft, which is a felony.
