Man arrested in connection with overdose death of girl, 17, in Grandview Heights

GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, OH (WCMH) – Police have arrested a man accused of being responsible for a 17-year-old girl’s fentanyl overdose in March.

Haleah Myers, 17, was found dead in a home on Broadview Avenue in Grandview in March of 2018.

Warrants for the arrest of Benjamin Bussey, 19, of Dublin were filed earlier this week. He is charged with involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs.

According to police, Bussey was apprehended in California by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. 

Three other people who lived in the home where Myers was found were arrested on drug charges. They were identified as Caleb Alexander, 20, William Alexander, 44, and Shirley Alexander, 67
