Local News

Local cyclists are taking to the road Saturday morning for an important cause: raising money for veteran rehabilitation services.

Honor Ride Ohio is a yearly event that seeks to help the hundreds of thousands of veterans suffering from both physical and mental wounds. The ride is part of the Project Hero initiative. Project Hero works to raise money to fund life-changing veteran rehabilitation services, available at no cost to the country’s heroes.

Rider check-in and registration begins at the Philip Heit Center for Healthy in New Albany 6:45am and the ride begins at 8am. Participants will have the option of riding a 14-mile, 31-mile or 67-mile route.

Elyse Chengery will be speaking with those participating in the ride and will have their full story tonight on NBC4 at 6pm.
