Columbus Craft Beer Week is officially underway and one of the week’s biggest events is happening Saturday in the Arena District.

Beer aficionados are invited to Six One Pour, the annual craft beer fest that features 55 Ohio craft breweries, at Huntington Park. Columbus Craft Brew Week brings together Columbus breweries, beer bars and restaurants to showcase the  brewing and food scene in Columbus with food and beer pairings, dinners, limited edition and specialty beer releases, meet-the-brewer opportunities and educational sessions about everything from beer styles to home-brewing.

Ohio ranks fourth in the country for craft beer production, and most of it is centered right here in Columbus. Although one would expect a competitive spirit among local brewers, that’s not the case in central Ohio. Brwers share equipment, trade wisdom and often work together on collaborations and tap takeovers.

Craft beer fans can expect to see seven special collaborative brews released during Columbus Craft Beer Week, starting with the Confluence IPA on tap at Six One Pour.
