Kitten rescued from storm drain after being dumped outside rescue

COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A cat was rescued from a storm drain Tuesday after someone dumped three kittens at a rescue organization.

It happened around 4am at Colony Cats in northwest Columbus.

According to Colony Cats, the group had to go searching for two of the three kittens that were abandoned. One was stuck in a storm drain and had to be rescued by firefighters.

As of Tuesday evening, all three kittens are safe.
