MADISON COUNTY, Ohio (WCMH) — A Columbus man was killed Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle crash along I-70 in Madison County.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-70 at mile post 84 around 6:43 a.m.
According to the West Jefferson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a silver Buick Le Sabre driven my 64-year-old James A. Palmer of Columbus was traveling west on I-70 when it was struck by a silver Chrysler. Palmer lost control and was then hit by an Infiniti SUV.
Palmer was taken to an area hospital where he died.
I-70 was restricted for much of the morning while troopers investigated.
