HOCKING COUNTY, OH (WCMH) — Some good news to start the weekend: Hocking County Sheriff’s Office K9, Ilka, has been found after she was missing for nearly a week.

According to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Ilka is now back with her handler Deputy Rick Torchick.

Ilka first went missing Sunday, April 28, after she chased a deer while playing with Torchick.

The sheriff’s office says it is thankful for all the tips and help received in finding Ilka.
