Hocking College searching for missing hawk stolen from nature center

NELSONVILLE, OH (WCMH) — Two hawks were stolen from the Hocking College nature center last week.

According to the Hocking College Police Department, two red-tailed hawks, one male and one female, were stolen from the Hocking College Nature Center sometime after 6pm, August 2.

Dragon, the male hawk, is missing primary feathers on his right wing.

The female hawk, Lefty, is blind in her right eye.

Both birds were last seen wearing leather bands, known as jesses, on their feet.
