A for-profit college with a campus in central Ohio has announced that it’s closing its doors for good.
Harrison College, a private, for-profit school with 11 locations in Indiana, Ohio and North Carolina said it will cease operations Sunday. Its associated school, The Chef’s Academy, will close Sunday, Oct. 14. The Ohio campus is located in Grove City.
The college did not say why there were shutting down operations in the press release that announced the closing.
“We are working with transfer and teach-out partners including State governing bodies and our accreditors to ensure each student has a pathway to complete their education,” a press release from Harrison College reads. “For students in Ohio, we are working closely with the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools to identify transfer/teach-out partners.”
Harrison College has been in business for more than a century.
