COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - With St. Patrick’s Day falling on Sunday, March 17, it will be a busy, party-filled weekend!
Here are dozens of great places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and drink green beer.
Friday, March 15
St. Patrick’s Day Dinner at Dublin Community Church. Dinner and Irish dancing starting at 6 pm. The meal includes corned beef and root vegetables or fish and macaroni and cheese (or double mac and cheese). Each meal includes a drink, Irish soda bread, and dessert. Now Accepting Reservation. Cost $6 for children $12 for adults.
Saturday, March 16
Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Lions Club pancake breakfast, Inflation Celebration, and the huge Parade followed by fun at shops and restaurants in the district.
After the parade, bring the kids to Kreation’s Play Kafé at Dublin Toy Emporium, 28 N. High St. in Dublin for the soft-opening on March 16 from noon – 4:30 pm.
There is a “stay and play” option (where a grownup stays on the property, browsing the store or just hanging out, and a “drop-and-go” option where you can leave the kids to play while you enjoy kid-free time. Reservations and paperwork is required for drop and go. Space may be limited for either option, so make a reservation to ensure space.
Fadó Pub and Kitchen in Dublin’s Bridge Park District: This new pub is celebrating its first St. Patrick’s Day with a two-day outdoor block party in the vibrant Bridge Park District in Dublin on March 16-17.
The event will include Irish dancers and live music all weekend long with bands such as Off the Hook, Cyril Scott Pipes, Lt Dan’s New Legs, and many more. Staying true to their Irish heritage, they will also have traditional Irish fare available on their menu such as corned beef and cabbage and specialty cocktails such as Irish Coffee. Flannagan’s St. Patrick’s 5k: Run the 5K before the huge St. Patrick’s Day party on March 16 – you’ll get a long-sleeved technical tee and a free pass to the party.

Sunday, March 17
St. Patrick’s Day Mass, Parade and Irish Family Reunion at St. Joseph’s Cathedral and the Convention Center with live music, Irish dancing, food and more. Reserve tickets, table, and parking in advance.
St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt at Blacklick Woods: Go on a scavenger hunt for green things in the park from 12-4 pm.
St. Patrick’s Day Skating Party at United Skates of America: 1pm-3:30pm. Wear Green and receive $1 admission, non-skating adults admitted FREE. Admission: $5, Skate Rental: $3.50, Rollerblade Rental: $3.50.
