Friday Freebies: Find cheap, low-cost Easter fun for kids and grownups

Easter is just weeks away and will fall on Sunday, April 21 this year.

But there are several events going on around the city to celebrate the spring season and Easter in Columbus, starting this weekend.

Check out the special events, including Easter fun for grownups, nearly 50 Easter Egg hunts in Columbus and separate events for people with special needs.

There are photos with the Easter Bunny at Polaris Fashion Place from March 30 through April 20.

Visits with the Bunny are free photo packages start at $24.99 and a couple of races to burn off some calories from the Easter candy.

  • Grand Bunny Arrival Extravaganza is March 30
  • Sensitive Bunny for those with special needs is April 7
  • Breakfast with the Easter Bunny is April 13 (rsvp required)
  • Mad Hatter Tea Party is April 19
