COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Deputies in Franklin County went to the skies to find a stolen ATV over the weekend.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called after someone reported their ATV stolen.

Deputies say they deployed a (UAS) Drone and followed tire tracks that led from the area to an abandoned house.

That’s where deputies found the ATV, which was covered with brush.

The man who reported the 4-wheeler stolen, told deputies that the ATV was a recent gift for his young son.

“End result, one happy kid!” a Facebook post from the sheriff’s office stated.
