Flu activity increasing in Ohio

Runny nose, fever and the chills. If you can check all of those boxes get ready to take a couple of days off because you probably have the flu.

More people got the flu shot this year but the strain that’s out here now called H3N2 is what’s knocking people out.

NBC4’s Darlene Hill spoke with a Dr. Bruce Jones at Ohio Health Doctor’s Hospital about the signs and symptoms of the virus.
