Flights cancelled and delayed because of storm

Local News

Flights out of the John Glenn international airport in Columbus run the spectrum of on-time, canceled, or delayed.

If you were heading north to Chicago or Toronto and east to New York or Washington DC, your flight was canceled or delayed.

Most flights elsewhere seem to be running on schedule.

Rachel Campbell waited at the airport hoping to catch an earlier plane to Nashville, Tenn.

“I thought, ‘I hope the temperature doesn’t drop down and doesn’t turn into a solid sheet of ice,’” said Campbell.

Bob Wise from Los Angeles, CA was disappointed the day turned out as nice as it did.

“I got up and the roads were clear,” said Wise. “I was worried about my flight being delayed.

Here are three of the largest airlines cancelation and rescheduling sites.
