Local News

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)— A local family escaped a massive house fire early Wednesday morning.

Around 3:09am crews were dispatched to 1065 Snohomish Ave after reports of a working fire.

According to the Columbus Division of Fire, the family was out of the home by the time officials arrived.

The fire began in the back of the home with flames stemming from the rooftop.

Firefighters say the home is now considered to be uninhabitable, and the Red Cross has been contacted to assist the family.
