A man pulled a knife on a Family Dollar employee after getting caught putting the goods down the front of his pants.

The would-be thief was so intent on his act, that when an employee and a bystander called him out for stealing he pulled out a knife and cut them.

An employee and a bystander at the store on East Livingston Avenue both put up a fight, but the robber legged it, northbound on South Nelson Road.

They caught him on camera, and now they want to catch him in real life. He’s 35-45, skinny, with a salt-and-pepper chinstrap beard.

If you know where the antsy thief got to, call the CPD Robbery Unit 614-645-4665 and let them know.
