COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Looking for a job? You’re not alone.

During the pandemic, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is reporting that the state paid out more than $9 billion in unemployment compensation payments to just over 973,000 people in Ohio who lost their jobs.

Trying to find employment is going to be tough and applicants are going to have to get creative, but the good news is work is out there and a lot of companies have opened their hiring budgets and they’re making offers.
