Planet Oasis is being billed as the ultimate entertainment experience. It’s being built in an area will be bigger than Disneyland.
Construction is set to begin in Delaware county in December, developers are telling us the 425-mile radius around the area contains more than 100 million people.
It’s the talk of the town right now because if something’s going to be dubbed bigger than Disneyland, you are going to want to know about it.
“I just heard that it’s coming to town and I just want to go. I will for sure take the family me myself will enjoy it so I’m sure my little son will and it’ll be a good time,” said Caleb Byrd.
We’re being told Planet Oasis will be fun for all ages.
“We’re going to draw through the entire country we are going to draw internationally,” says David Glimcher.
Glimcher, the CEO of Blue horseshoe ventures says this is the first project like this anywhere in the US to place all these components in one area.
It will include
- Paddle boats
- A mall
- Night Clubs
- VIP bowling
- Health and wellness campus.
“I’m most excited for the health and wellness aspect because I have always been into alternative medicine supplementation. Every plant every herb that you need exists on the planet that will create health and wellness for you and no side effects,” said Glimcher.
Hotels will range in price from $50 a night to $500. It will also include climbing, BMX biking, skating and surfing.
“Why? Because those are the four new Olympic sports for 2020 and our action sports partners are on the Olympic committee,” said Glimcher. “I can tell you that we have now executed the agreement with Ultrastar Multitainment Media Centers to be here. They will be our signature tenant. I can tell you that we are finalized in terms of our action sports zone and district with our partners.”
They anticipate hosting future XGames, World Beach Games, and Air and Style shows by Sean White.
“But we’re not Disneyland because Disneyland is a theme park, we’re not a theme park. We’re the largest attractions, entertainment food and beverage, action sports, health wellness venue in the entire country,” says Glimcher.
“We’re from Cleveland and we pass through town here all the time, it sounds like a blast we have our kids right here in the car they’re going to love the go-karting they’re going to love the pools,” said Aaron Yinglang.
“Yeah I think it’s great for the economy so I’m all for it for sure I think anything in Ohio is good,” said Suzanne Edwards.
Construction begins officially in December. About half will be done by next year and the rest by 2020.
