Deputies: Three dead, one injured in connected crimes in Ross County

ROSS COUNTY, OH (WCMH) — A third person has died after two connected crimes in Ross County.

According to a release from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, at about 4pm, Monday, deputies were called to the 4500 block of Vigo Road and found a male and a female that had been violently assaulted. 

Both victims were taken to Adena Regional Medical Center and later to Grant Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. 

One of those victims was pronounced dead Tuesday.

The release states that while investigating the scene, deputies were then alerted to another scene on Bowman Lane.

Deputies say when they arrived on scene they found another male and female dead inside their home suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

Police identified the victims as Leann Potts, 46, Thomas Littler, 63 and Rock Adams, 50.

According to deputies, the crimes appear to be connected. 

There are no suspects at this time and the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. 23 Major Crimes Task Force, and Ohio BCI continue to investigate.
