CRIME OF THE WEEK: Reward offered for tips leading to suspect with fake $50 bill

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, around 9:15 pm, an unidentified individual attempted to pass a counterfeit $50 bill at the Kroger Marketplace Fuel Center at 280 S. Hamilton Road in Gahanna.

The clerk realized the bill was counterfeit and called the police.

The suspect left, prior to the officer’s arrival, after paying with a valid $20 bill. The suspect appears to have a tattoo on his right hand. A photo of the suspect may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
