CRIME OF THE WEEK: Investigators ask for tips in 2012 shooting death of Carlos Hardiman, Jr.

It has been seven years since Carlos Hardiman, Jr. was murdered.

Hardiman, 19, was shot in front of 847 Forest St. and transported to Children’s Hospital.

Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was transported to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 1:43 a.m. on March 20, 2012.

Witnesses told the Columbus Division of Police that the shooting occurred in front of 847 Forest Street. More information is needed.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the person responsible for Hardiman’s death.

Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS(8477).
