Crews remove “Back the Blue” sign painted in front of Columbus City Hall

Local News

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — In what may be another sign of the growing rift between Columbus City Hall and the Fraternal Order of Police, city crews late Monday night cleaned and erased a “Back The Blue” message that had been painted in front of city hall.

The sign was seen as a public show of support for police, but has been removed within the last hour.

The message was painted this past Saturday during a protest in downtown Columbus.
