COLUMBUS (WCMH) — COTA is once again starting up its weekend and holiday service routes to the Columbus Zoo.

According to COTA, starting May 12 and running through September 3, buses will begin running routes on weekends and holidays to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

You can board at the Statehouse, or leave your car at the Griggs Dam Park and Ride and avoid paying for parking and gas.

The cost is $2 each way.

Ask your bus operator for a transfer/coupon and receive Zoo admission for only $3 per person, or $10 off of Zoombezi Bay admission per person when you purchase tickets at the entrance for the day of your COTA trip.

Weekday service to the zoo will begin May 29, and run through August 31.
