COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Two people were hospitalized after a shooting outside a north Columbus recreation center Wednesday night.

According to Columbus police, the shooting happened near the Fedderson Community Center in the 3900 block of Dresden Street at approximately 9:45 p.m.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.  

Police say while they were investigating, they found a blood trail, separate from the first victim, and later learned a 19-year-old man had taken himself to an area hospital.  

Both men are expected to survive their injuries, according to police.
