COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police say a man has been upgraded from critical condition after being shot in northeast Columbus Saturday afternoon.

According to Columbus police, the shooting took place on the 1400 block of East 24th Avenue at approximately 6:03 p.m.

Officers say they arrived to find a man who had been shot several times to his upper and lower body.

The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. He was upgraded Sunday morning and is expected to survive his injuries, according to police.

Authorities have a warrant out for 26-year old Desmanne Bradley, whom police say was in a shouting match with Holt before shots were fired.
